Monday Moments…a beautiful sunrise over the Mississippi this morning after celebrating America’s 250th.
Did you see America this weekend? I did.
I saw families and friends gathered together for the holiday. I saw kids with drippy ice cream cone smiles, sparklers in their hands, and not a care in the world. People cruised around our little island city to see the patriotic perimeter, looking for the flag of someone they knew or loved. There was good food, good company, fireworks, friendly faces, plenty of smiles, and even a rainbow or two.
For a little while, people slowed down and simply enjoyed life—the sunshine between storms and the communities they call home.
Let’s carry a little of that joy into the week ahead and keep the good vibes going.
Have a wonderful week, friends. ![]()
